Join Our Lab
Undergraduate Students
The CARE Lab is no longer accepting students for Fall 2026.
We are looking for Undergraduate Research Assistants (URAs) that are passionate about youth resilience and neighborhood disadvantage.
URAs in the CARE Lab will have opportunities to conduct virtual audits of neighborhoods, gather public records, conduct family visits, and be a part of a collaborative team! We expect our URAs sign up for 2 or 3 credit hours, which is approximately 7.5 to 10 hours per week. Additionally, URAs are required to participate in weekly lab meetings.
Honors Thesis Opportunity: Please note that Dr. Shewark's mentorship for Honors Theses is reserved for students who are already active members of the CARE Lab.
