Fengyi Tao

Biography

Fengyi earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, in May 2026. During her master’s training, she examined how children’s attachment representations are associated with their prosocial intentions and behaviors and contributed to treatment work with children ages 7 to 10 exhibiting conduct problems. These experiences shaped her research interests in family dynamics, children’s socio-emotional development, and resilience. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and hopes to further explore the relational and contextual processes that support children’s healthy development. In her free time, Fengyi enjoys hiking, watching dramas, and listening to podcasts.
