Biography
Amaria Clark is a recent graduate of Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in criminology. This summer, she is excited to join the CARE lab as a research assistant with the hopes of learning more about the interconnected relationship between individuals and their environments. She also has an interest in juvenile justice, global mental health advocacy, and learning more about culturally affirming coping mechanisms. Beyond academia, Amaria is known for her wanderlust, admiration for nature, and love for trying new foods. Following this summer, she is excited to return to Howard University as she pursues a PhD in Clinical Psychology!
